"a combination of domestic supply interruptions and trouble in energy markets overseas have made crude oil more expensive.".....

"Within hours of his swearing-in, Biden revoked a presidential permit for the controversial pipeline, which would have transported up to 900,000 barrels per day of Canadian crude to U.S. refineries."(https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-11-30/fact-checking-the-finger-pointing-on-high-gasoline-prices)

We were an energy(oil) exporter during the Trump administration, in Biden's first year he shuts down the Keystone pipeline and ANWR and then goes begging OPEC to increase their production. Of course, there were other factors that led to increased costs for oil, but what Biden did to shut down US oil production sure didn't improve the situation we all face at the fuel pumps today. So much for "good sense at the helm".
