Peninsula Regional Transportation Planning Organization Notice of Public Comment 2025-2030 Regional Transportation Improvement Program

Notice is Hereby Given The Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) is prepared yearly by the Peninsula Regional Transportation Planning Organization (PRTPO) in cooperation with local jurisdictions and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). The RTIP covers a 6-year timespan and identifies a list of transportation projects. Those federally funded projects within the first four years of the RTIP with secured funding will be forwarded to the state for inclusion in the WSDOT’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Funding for awarded federally funded projects is not available to jurisdictions until the project is included in the STIP. The PRTPO invites public comment on the proposed 2025-2030 Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) of state-sponsored, federally funded, and regionally significant transportation projects in Clallam, Jefferson, and Mason counties. Comments are due no later than 5:00 PM on October 17, 2024. The PRTPO Board will consider adopting the 2025-2030 Regional Transportation Improvement Program at the October 18, 2023, Board meeting.
