SERVICE BY PUBLICATION KALA POINT VILLAGE ASSOCIATION, PLAINTIFF(S) v. APRIL GILVEY AND JOHN/JANE DOE GILVEY, And their marital community, DEFENDANT(S) Cause No: 23-2-00111-16 A Writ for Order of Sale has been issued in the above captioned case, directed to the Sheriff of Jefferson County, commanding the Sheriff as follows: 1. A Judgement and Foreclosure Decree (hereinafter “Judgement”) was entered in the above-entitled court on May 24, 2024, in favor of the Plaintiff, KALA POINT VILLAGE ASSOCIATION (hereinafter “Judgement Creditor”), against defendants APRIL GILVEY and JOHN/JANE DOE GILVEY, and their marital community, for the sum of Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Eight and 28/100 Dollars ($ 14,748.28) (attorney calculations), including interest to date of judgement, costs and attorney fees. The judgment specifies that the Judgement amounts shall bear interest at the rate of 12% per annum. 2. The Judgement is a foreclosure of a lien filed by the Judgement Creditor against the real property described at Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein, with Assessor’s property Tax Parcel or Account number: 965202510; THEREFORE, in the name of the State of Washington, you are hereby commanded to seize and sell the above-described property forthwith and without appraisement, in the manner provided by law. If the proceeds of such sale are insufficient to satisfy the Judgement, costs accrued and increased costs, you are directed to satisfy the deficiency out of any property of the Defendants not exempt from execution. The Judgement includes a right to recover any deficiency following the sale. The sale is exempt from homestead under RCW Ch. 6.13. The redemption period following the sale shall be: One (1) Year You are further directed to make return hereof within sixty days, showing how you have executed the same. Pursuant to RCW 6.21.050(2), the Sheriff may adjourn the foreclosure sale from time to time, not exceeding thirty days at which this Writ is made returnable, with the consent of the plaintiff endorsed upon this Writ or by contemporaneous writing. The sale date has been set for 10:00 am on 09/20/2024 at the main entrance of the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
