In 2024, seven members of the League of Women Voters-Jefferson County Observer Corps watched the processing and counting of the ballots during the March presidential primary, the August general election primary, and the November general election. We also observed this year’s mandatory state-wide manual recount of the ballots for the Commissioner of Public Lands primary. In all instances, the staff of the Jefferson County Elections Office performed their duties with diligence and attention to detail. The LWVJC has complete faith in the accuracy and security of our local elections process.
Anyone wishing to know more about participating in the Observer Corps should email wvjeffcowa@gmail.com to learn how to join the League.
