The Port Ludlow Art League has announced an art exhibit at the Bay Club entitled “Trash to Art Treasure” is making a return performance.
Art pieces in the exhibit show how waste such as paper, cardboard, wood, glass, plastics, metals, and rubber, can be turned into works of art.
The league notes the concept goes beyond the conventional recycling of materials by creating objects that exceed the economic, cultural, and social value of the original product.
The art exhibit is sponsored by the Port Ludlow Art League and will be on display during the month of March. The public is encouraged to visit the Bay Club and vote for their favorite artwork.
The Bay Club is located at 120 Spinnaker Lane in Port Ludlow.
