Tracy Lynn Mahoney (Moe), 57, passed away peacefully on April 13th, 2025, in Brick, New Jersey after a prolonged illness.
Tracy was born on July 20th, 1967, in Gardena, California, but was primarily raised in Port Ludlow, Washington. She attended Chimacum schools and was a 1985 graduate of Chimacum High School and later earned an Associate of Science degree from Clatsop Community College. Tracy and her husband, Michael, resided in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey for the last 14 years prior to her passing. Before her illness, she was employed as a secretary at Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church.
The three most important things to Tracy were her religious faith, family, and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and sister. Tracy understood the value of time and spent every day trying to better herself as a person while also helping anyone in need, even while she battled serious health issues.
Tracy was a devout Catholic and was very active in her local church. She was a member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Rosary Altar Society, and other religious groups. While living in Port Ludlow, Tracy was an active member of Saint Mary Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church in Port Townsend.
She is survived by two daughters and a son, Malory Rosenkoetter (Brent) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jarred Mahoney (Ashley) of Port Townsend, WA, and Rebekah Caldwell (Shawn) of Canton, Georgia. Tracy was a loving grandmother to Leonidis, Eleanor, Oliver, and Henry. She also leaves behind her mother, Marianne Moe, and sisters Lori Burgener (Robin) and Nicole Menchaca (Ricardo). She was also an aunt to Samuel Burgener and Jesse Menchaca. Tracy was predeceased by her father, Harold Moe and granddaughter, Mya Rosenkoetter.
A memorial service for Tracy will be held at Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ on May 30 th , 2025 at 11:30 a.m. This service will be livestreamed via Saint Peters’ Facebook page for those who are unable to attend.
