Timothy Lee Love was born on March 9, 1964, in Honolulu, Hawaii to David R. Love and Shelby J. Love. Shelby remarried when Tim was 8 months old to Woodrow Colyott and was raised by Shelby and Woodrow. Tim passed away all too soon on May 2, 2022.

Raised in a military family, Tim lived in many places as his family frequently relocated. In the 1970s the family decided to settle in Quilcene where Tim finished school. In high school, Tim and his friends formed a band called Jeddak where Tim was the lead singer. They played at school functions and many local events, and even some Seattle venues. After a seven-year stint in the military, Tim’s passion was hunting with his trusty dog, Schooner. Tim was self-employed with his own construction business and helped many local residents with home and business projects throughout the years.

On May 16, 1998, Tim married his true love Luxmi Turner. The couple had their first child in March 2004, and their second child was born in March 2008. They were his pride and joy.

Tim is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Luxmi Love; his two beloved children, Shelby Love and Jayden Love. He is also survived by his mother, Shelby Colyott; his father, Woodrow Colyott; his sister, Teresa DuPuis (Mike DuPuis); his brother, David Love (Denise Jarrells); many nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Linda Turner; and sisters-in-law, Kumari Trividi and Buri Turner.

Tim is truly loved, and he will be greatly missed.

In lieu of cards or flowers, please consider helping with Shelby and Jayden’s future. There is an account set up for them at First Federal Bank in Port Townsend.

Tim’s celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Quilcene Community Center. Please bring your favorite Seahawk or game day appetizer and memory to share.
