Ted Knivila, age 87, passed away surrounded by family on March 19, 2025.
Ted was born in Winchester Idaho on March 27, 1937 where he spent his youth hunting, fishing and playing sports. He attended University of Idaho and became a teacher before becoming a principal and then superintendent. He coached numerous sports, loved the outdoors, skiing, working in the yard, traveling, and spending time with family. He especially loved working with students.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Knivila, children- son Bruce and daughter in law Kelly, daughter Kristine and son in law Troy, and stepson Rocky step daughter in law Wendy. Grandchildren Ally, Liv, Aidan, Quinn, Blair, Trilaina, Chris, and Danielle and many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Darlene, Chuck, and Kevin.
