Enrollment is starting soon for Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship’s spring 2022 adult learning programs.

Special events, courses and ongoing groups will be offered to the public free of charge from Jan. 31 through May 28 and all are welcome to attend.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all indoor classes and events will be conducted online, although there are open-space field trips offered.

Organizers said the programs are designed to meet a variety of interests ranging from one-day workshops and lectures to weekly courses exploring personal belief systems, academic subjects, creativity, lifestyle challenges and choices, and physical activity.

One-day offerings include: Creating strong healthy bones, searching for the mother tree in a local forest, a tour of a carving studio and nearby tribal totem poles, a visit to an Arabian horse breeding farm in Chimacum, and a visit to Heronswood Garden in Kingston.

Weekly courses include: Great Decisions 2022 Seminar, “The spiritual teachings of Ralph Waldo Emerson,” “The poetry of Denise Levertov,” “The art of professional teaching,” and “The story of India.”

The Great Decisions course will also be offered at Jefferson County Library.

Course brochures can be downloaded at www.quuf.org (under “Adult Programs”) beginning Sunday, Jan. 16. Scholarships are available to help defray costs of travel, books and/or materials.

Enroll online with SignUpGenius at tinyurl.com/ALPs2022Spring.

Priority enrollment for Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship members and enrolled friends is Jan. 16 through Jan. 22.

Public enrollment begins Sunday, Jan. 23.

Everyone is limited to three enrollments until programming begins Jan. 31.
