Port Townsend City Council chambers will reopen to the public starting Monday, Aug. 2.
The reopening coincides with the scheduled city council meeting, set for 6:30 p.m.
City officials are requesting that unvaccinated individuals wear masks if attending the meeting.
As of Monday, the city had not placed any restrictions on the number of attendees for the meeting, but city staff would continue to monitor state guidelines as the Aug. 2 meeting approaches.
The city will continue to offer virtual coverage of city council meetings and those who wish to participate virtually may do so by phone or online.

Council committees, planning commission, and advisory board meetings will still be conducted online.
