The Port Townsend School District’s kindergarten through fifth grade English Language Arts Adoption Team is recommending the adoption of the Wilson Reading curricula, “Wit and Wisdom” by Great Minds and Fundations.
Having reviewed the recommendation at their June 17 meeting, the school board will consider adopting the recommendation at an upcoming board meeting in July.
School board policy provides an opportunity for the community to review materials proposed for adoption. Until end of June, the “Wit and Wisdom” and Fundations instructional materials will be available to view at Salish Coast Elementary during regular office hours.
The materials can also be found online at https://greatminds.org/english and https://wilsonlanguage.com/programs/fundations/.
Comments can be sent to Salish Coast Elementary Principal Lisa Condran at lcondran@ptschools.org.
Input can also be sent by mail to Lisa Condran, ELA Curriculum, Port Townsend School District, 1610 Blaine St., Port Townsend, WA 98368.
