Graceanne Tarsa of Port Townsend will be awarded a master of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee during commencement at the university later this month.
Tarsa is a student in the university’s School of Freshwater Sciences.
Virtual commencement exercises at the the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee are planned for Sunday, Dec. 19 in Milwaukee. There are more than 1,900 prospective candidates for degrees in December’s graduation ceremony.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is the second largest university in the State of Wisconsin, with more than 24,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
