Don’t miss your chance to whirl and twirl! This is a family-friendly event with live dance music played by Port Townsend’s own talented high school musicians at their debut performance.
The Port Townsend Fiddle Club will play the Arizona polkas, Swedish waltzes, Mexicone sones, Ukrainian dances, and a special Polska from Denmark. So put on your dancing slippers, sneakers, or wingtips! All dances will be taught on-site.
Did we mention pie? There will be PIE! Win a homemade delicacy at the pie walk. Baked goods will be available for sale too.
This event is both a fun-raiser and a fundraiser–all proceeds benefit the PTHS orchestra trip to Los Angeles next spring. The PTHS Orchestra and Music Boosters are raising funds to send 85 high-school students to Los Angeles next spring so that students may participate in a music clinic, public performances, and attend a Los Angeles Philharmonic concert.
