A 23-year-old woman was found dead at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Port Townsend Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Victoria K. Brown.
Officers from the Port Townsend Police Department and deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were called to the fairgrounds after a person reported finding a woman face down on the ground outside her trailer at 8:52 a.m. Dec. 29.
Personnel from East Jefferson Fire Rescue also responded.
The cause of the woman's death is currently under investigation by Jefferson County and Port Townsend police detectives.
