Residents in the Quilcene School District can help the district plan for its upcoming capital projects during a meeting this week on the Zoom teleconferencing platform.
Voters approved a capital levy in February 2020 to pay for a new bus barn and other projects.
At this week’s online meeting, district officials will talk about the new bus barn, which will replace the existing one, and also discuss possible changes to the student drop-off and pick-up area at the school.
The meeting is at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24. Those who want to tune in should send an email to jsukert@qsd48.org to get a Zoom invitation to the meeting.
Future meetings will likely cover other components of the capital levy project, which include pre-construction activities for a replacement elementary school building and other modernization or remodeling of school facilities.
