Peninsula College will host “Dia de Culturas: Celebrating Latin American Diversity” from 3 to 7 p.m Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Forks Peninsula College campus in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.
This year’s theme is “Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation.”
The free event is being organized by the local Latino community and will showcase the diversity within Latin America. Día de Culturas will display and share a variety of foods, games, dance, music, traditional cooking methods, crafts, traditional clothing, and more.
The event is free and open to the public.
