Orthopedic physician assistant Natalie Russell has joined the orthopedics team at Jefferson Healthcare, the hospital announced last week.
Russell is a recent graduate of Harding University, where she earned a master of science degree in physician assistant studies. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Colorado State University.
As a board-certified physician assistant, Russell will work closely with the orthopedic team. The team regularly performs knee and hip replacement surgery and utilizes sophisticated computer navigation during surgery for greater accuracy and precision implant placement. Earlier this summer, Jefferson Healthcare welcomed a new surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow arthroscopic surgery.
Russell’s personal interests include running, hiking, and reading, and she is excited to be back in her home state of Washington.
