Northwest soul star Grace Love will discuss her forthcoming solo album and perform songs old, new, and of the moment during a special live broadcast of “An Evening with Grace Love” on KPTZ at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.

The special offering is the latest Jefferson County Historical Society First Friday lecture.

Love has spent the last decade, event officials said, working to bring soul music back to the forefront of the northwest music scene. Collaborating with a local pool of talented musicians who are committed to keeping soul alive and thriving in the Northwest, Love is beloved and respected for her powerful live performances and unmistakable voice.

Tune in to the live broadcast on KPTZ (91.9 FM) or visit the Jefferson County Historical Society website for the video livestream link, which will be updated prior to the event.

This free broadcast, officials said, celebrates the culmination of the Jefferson County Historical Society’s 2020 First Friday Lecture Series and is co-presented by JCHS, KPTZ, Salish Sound, and The Production Alliance.
