A 58-year-old Sequim man was injured when his motorcycle went off the road on Highway 20 near Discovery Bay Sunday morning.
The rider was heading south on the highway and was near Milepost 3 when his 2012 KTM motorcycle left the road. The man went into the ditch while the motorcycle came to a rest on the right shoulder of the eastbound lane, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash was reported at 10:27 a.m. May 15.
The State Patrol said inattention by the motorcyclist was the cause of the crash, and charges were pending for driving with wheels off the roadway.
The man was taken to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.
The motorcycle was damaged in the crash and was removed from the scene by All City Auto Body & Towing.
