To celebrate both the arrival of spring and four years of business in one fell swoop, Port Townsend’s The Artful Sailor will host a May Day shindig. Starting at noon Saturday, May 1, there will be free entertainment just outside the storefront, located in the old Armory Building by the skate park.
Passersby will be audience to two bands, spring activities, and demonstrations of what The Artful Sailor is all about.
A whole earth nautical supply and sail exchange, The Artful Sailor promotes and preserves traditional skills of rigging, working and maintaining as they pertain to sailing. The local business and the brand work to uphold seafaring traditions through education, consultation, and through the products they provide.
