Rainshadow Recording’s next concert returns to its studio on Fort Worden.
The March 10 studio concert and live album recording will feature Carolyn Kendrick and Tristan Scroggins.
Kendrick is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, fiddler, guitarist and producer, while Scroggins is a Grammy award-nominated mandolin player who’s becoming more well-known in the bluegrass genre.
Kendrick worked as a side musician on the road for a number of years before stepping out as a solo artist with the release of her debut EP, “Tear Things Apart,” in 2020.
Paste Magazine described Kendrick as “hauntingly lovely,” and her new album, “Each Machine,” is a gothic Americana exploration of the “Satanic Panic” mass mysteria of the 1980s.
