Kaye Madeline Giese, 80, passed peacefully March 12, 2025, in Port Townsend, Washington at Jefferson Healthcare.
Born on January 29, 1945, to Emory (Red) and Berdine (Lyons) Dudleston in Port Townsend. She was married to Orville Giese on September 20, 2007.
Kaye was a life-long resident of Port Townsend. She worked at Jefferson Healthcare for more than 30 years until her retirement in 2019. Kaye was a proud elder of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe.
Survivors include her son Michael Grewell (Cindy), daughter Bonnie Gray (Michael), daughter Janet Nolan (Tim), son Bob Grewell (Donielle), 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, her sisters Marlene Flemens and Georgia Dudleston, a niece, and nephews.
The family thanks Jefferson Healthcare for their excellent care, especially Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tracie Harris, Family Nurse Practitioner Angela Pieratt, ER nurse Wendy and ICU nurses Stacie, Libby, and Jam, Chaplain Nordberg, and Kosec Funeral Home. Additionally, thank you to the Cowlitz Indian Tribe for their continued support.
