The incident was reported as an attempted burglary. A deputy responded and checked outside the home. The officer found no evidence in the grass or dirt that someone had been walking around.

No evidence was found of an attempted burglary. The deputy suggested that cameras could be installed to improve security of the property.

At 8:35 a.m. Sunday, April 2 in Port Townsend, a man who had a campsite near the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services offices reported a case of theft and vandalism.

He said his backpack was missing and someone had taken a knife and cut the tires on his bike.

A deputy responded and noted the bike tires had been stabbed with a knife.
