Jefferson County's total number of COVID-19 cases climbed to 446 Thursday after a new case was reported to Jefferson County Public Health.
The new coronavirus infection was found in a woman in her 50s.
Health officials said seven people were still in isolation Thursday due to potential contact with people with COVID-19.
Another nine residents are still awaiting test results.
A total of 31 county residents have been hospitalized due to the coronavirus, and COVID-19 has claimed the lives of four residents since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
County health officials said 25,404 local tests for coronavirus have been reported since the pandemic began. A total of 24,949 have come back negative.
According to Jefferson County Public Health, 414 residents have recovered from the coronavirus. Four people from Jefferson County have died from COVID-19.
People are considered "recovered" at 28 days from the onset of symptoms if they are alive and not hospitalized, according to the state Department of Health.
