Jefferson County Commissioners are looking for applications to fill two vacant positions on public boards.
The first is a Citizen At-Large position on the Law Enforcement Officers and FireFighters Retirement Board.
The board reviews applications and claims for disability leave and retirement for firefighters or law enforcement officers.
No law enforcement or firefighting experience is needed.
Those interested in the non-paid position can submit a letter of interest to the Jefferson County Commissioners’ Office, P.O. Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368 by Feb. 7, 2020.
The second opening is on the Peninsula Housing Authority as a Jefferson County representative.
Interested parties can contact Peninsula Housing Authority Executive Director Kay Kassinger at 360-452-7631 ext. 821. A written statement of interest must be submitted to the Jefferson County Commissioners, P.O. Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368 by 4:30 p.m. Jan. 24, 2020.
