In-Person and Online Tech Tuesday Class: Citizen Science and Birding Apps

Posted by mcote@jclibrary.info

Citizen Science allows everyday people to participate in data collection and analysis for scientific projects. It requires little or no experience and offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to important scientific research. Join us to explore birding apps such as e-Bird and Merlin and learn how you can contribute to bird-related projects and data collection. This one-hour class is followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session and time to practice what you've learned.
Become a Citizen Scientist! Join us at Irondale Beach County Park on October 23rd at 2:30 pm for our Citizen Science: Migratory Shorebird Count program. Irondale Beach County Park is located at 353 1st Avenue in Port Hadlock.
