It was a sail-abration as far as the eye could see.

The Pocket Yacht Palooza took place on Saturday, July 17 at the Northwest Maritime Center. Sails were hoisted and decks laid bare in the misty morning.

Boat owners and craftsmen stood by their vessels with pride and coffee in hand, orating their handiwork with a dash of salty sea stories.

The number of boats decked out and docked up at the palooza totaled a shipload.

Blinded by the precise lapstrake and framework, the ornate hanging knees and boot stripe, onlookers regarded each cruiser with appreciation.
