The East Jefferson Rivals boys and girls wrestling teams competed last Wednesday, with the boys winning their duel 24-18 against Life Christian Academy.
Multiple EJ boys earned pins at the Life Christian meet. Gage Berry (182-pound weight division), Logan Massie (170 weight division), Sam Lampert (160 weight division), and A.J. Stevenson (138 weight division) all earned pins to get the victory over their foes.
The girls travelled to Bremerton for their meet, with four grapplers participating.
Mi Amada Lanphear-Ramirez (120-pound weight division) won her only matchup of the meet, and Chloe Lampert went 1-1 in her two matches, with a pin after falling behind in her winning match.
Savanna Hoffmann went 1-1 in her matches and Melody Douglas went 0-2 in her matches.
Both teams’ next meet will be Wednesday, Dec. 15 at Klahowya High School.
