Melody Douglas and Gavin Hamburg, both of Port Townsend, have been named to the fall 2024 dean’s lists at their respective universities.
Douglas is a senior majoring in cinematic arts at George Fox University in Newberg, Ore., where students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or above on 12 or more hours of graded work to earn a spot on the dean’s list.
Hamburg is a sophomore majoring in computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass., where students are named to the dean’s list based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects.
