Dorothy, 86, was born Feb. 2, 1936 to Russell and Dorothy Ellis in Rainer, Washington. She passed away on Nov. 23, 2022.

She married Samuel E. Burns in 1953; they had four children. They were later divorced.

Dorothy married Siegfried Krickemeyer in New Westminster, B.C. in 1975 and gained three bonus children.

She was a valued employee as a trust officer in Olympia, Wash., and later as an office manager and dispatcher in Annacis Island, B.C. She retired and moved to Port Townsend in 1998.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved her weekly pinochle games with her girlfriends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Burns; her husband, Siegfried; brother, Jack Ellis; and grandson, Gino Venske.

She is survived by her children, Tanis (Mike) Arey of Port Townsend; Ronald Burns of Port Hadlock; Bonnie Hicks of Langley, B.C.; Donnie ( Vicki) Krickemeyer of Langley, B.C.; Susan (Eric) Parker of Kamloops, B.C.; and Monica (James) of Amarillo ,Texas. She also leaves behind a brother, Donald (Linda) Ellis of Olympia, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

At her request there will be no service.
