Whether it’s the smooth, romantic rhythm of the Tango or riveting, choreographed group dances, Bill Evans and company will bring an enthralling show to attendees of the five-part dancing series.

With featured performers Don Halquist, Cheryl Johnson, Leanne Rinelli, the Evans Peninsula Dance Ensemble, and Evans himself, the star-studded cast of dancers will bring three performances to JFK Hall in Fort Worden Historical State Park on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June12.

Promoters said the show will bring joy and entertainment and is suitable for ages 8 to 82.

On the dance program are five performances; the “Class Rhythm Tap Suite,” “Tres Tangos,” “Interview,” “Colony,” and “Los Ritmos Calientes.”

The dance performances will be held at 1 and 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11 and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12.

Tickets cost $20 per person and can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/5412532.

Masks are required for attendees and the dance hall will be well-ventilated for the performance.

Also, 30 seats will be held on a pay-what-you-can basis with support from the Port Townsend Arts Commission.
