Tri-Area Community Meals Thanksgiving Dinner. Noon-3 p.m. Tri-Area Community Center, 10 W. Valley Road, Chimacum. More than 250 pounds of freshly roasted turkey and 100 pounds of locally farmed potatoes from Dharma Ridge Farm will be prepared for the annual community Thanksgiving Day meal in Chimacum. Vegetables, gravy, cranberry sauce and fresh rolls will be topped off with baked pumpkin pie for a traditional holiday meal.

Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Port Townsend Community Center, 620 Tyler St.

Community Soup & Empty Bowls Project. Noon-7 p.m. Finnriver Cider Garden, Taproom & Orchard. Community Soup offered free or by donation on Fridays while supplies last. Purchase a locally crafted pottery bowl for the Empty Bowls project. Proceeds go to the Jefferson County Food Bank garden programs. Bowls provided by Millbrook Clayworks, Center Valley Pottery and Laughing Gnome Pottery. Soup is free or by donation. Minimum suggested donation for pottery bowls is $25.

Paint your own bowl benefit. 1-4 p.m. Finnriver Cider Garden, Taproom & Orchard. Millbrook Clayworks sponsors this event on Fridays for $25, with half the proceeds going to the Jefferson County Food Bank. Millbrook Clayworks also provides paint, brushes and bowls, then fires the bowls and has them ready for pick-up at their studio in about a week. Bowls can also be shipped for $10.
