Why does The Leader give a full column to a woman who pretends to speak for “the community” as she demands an apology from our Co-op for “issues” she fails to define? Speak for yourself if you have problems, is what I say. The Co-op sells good food to anyone who wants to buy it. They have programs that add support to farms and to the Food Bank. They pay all employees well. They are courteous, even friendly toward all customers. No hate talk or political insults stain their business space. It’s a fine grocery store. This woman should state clearly what her issues are.
