Become a grow-getter with Master Classes in gardening

WSU Jefferson County is offering a gardening master class with an emphasis on food growing taught by some of the county’s seasoned gardening experts in March.

If you have an interest in growing your own food or if you are just looking to polish your green thumb this season, Spring Growing Groceries classes may be for you.

This five-week workshop takes place Monday and Wednesday mornings starting March 1 through March 31 via Zoom.

Just in time for the spring season, local experts will teach novice gardeners about soil, seed starting, composting, cultivation practices, pest management, and more. Activities are suited for all ages.

Registration for the spring session is open. Visit extension.wsu.edu/jefferson/gardening-classes/ to register and learn more.
