Whereas others might while away their spare time collecting stamps or restoring classic cars, Stefanie Worwag and Mario Rivera have taken it upon themselves to clean, paint and reassemble the bones of a gray whale they named "Gunther."
The couple have been collaborating with local maritime tradesmen Les Schnick and Ric Brenden to figure out how to go about mounting the whale skeleton, once complete, for display in their yard as an incredibly unique lawn ornament.
