Close to 500 Jefferson County Public Utility District customers were without power after heavy winds gusted through the area Monday morning.
The largest outage was in Quilcene, where 171 customers near U.S. Highway 101 lost electricity around 10 a.m. Monday.
Other locations without power include Highway 104 near the Hood Canal Bridge with 105 customers, and West Uncas Road with 71 customers.
Over the weekend, the National Weather Service in Seattle issued a high-wind warning along Washington’s Western coastline that will continue until midnight Monday.
