2021 saw the return of the Port Townsend Shipwrights' Regatta for its 30th year.
Organizers had a hard time recalling any better-attended regattas with nearly 60 boats taking to Port Townsend Bay to race twice around the triangle course set by the race committee.
Leader reporter Nick Twietmeyer was there on the water to capture the action, snapping shots from a 16-foot rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) operated by Robert d'Arcy and Holly Kays. Here are just a few of his favorite photos from the day.
