What was the first song you learned to play?

“The one that I vividly remember is The Counting Crows song ‘Mr. Jones,’ because my 9-year-old fingers could not wrap themselves around that damn F chord.”

Favorite song as a child?

“‘People are Strange’ by The Doors.”

Favorite cartoon character?

“Mighty Mouse hands down. I have a picture of me dressed up like him — with my underwear over my onesie PJs. I was a weird kid.”

As a child, what did you want to do once grown up?

“Other than be Mighty Mouse, I’d settle to be a professional musician.”

Have you ever been a fashion victim?

“I’ve been a victim in being extremely unfashionable.”

If you could have a super power, what would it be?

“To know every single language in the world.”

What was the last thing you watched on television?

“That’s too embarrassing, and if I told you, no one would want to see me play music.”

“Oh gosh. I thought I have been in love several times until I met my current partner and now I truly know what love is.”

“What I’m doing now, playing music.”

“CHEESE!!!”
