The American people won, and the special interests lost. President Biden, who has been working tirelessly to put his economic agenda into action, signed a central piece of it into law yesterday —the Inflation Reduction Act . . . also referred to as “a vast climate and tax bill.” The long-awaited bill is aimed at reducing health costs, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and raising taxes on corporations and wealthy investors. (Rep. Cheney, as expected, lost the GOP House primary in Wyoming.)
