Auburn's Mayor said it will be difficult for cities to overhaul all utility, transportation, housing, and capital facility elements to accommodate more density. This pinch point is a by product of the Growth Management Act which decided be a lot cheaper for cities and counties to accommodate infra structure in the city rather than the rural country thus sparing governments from more expensive infrastructure costs due to sprawl. Look at other high population areas with low land masses you'll see apartments and condos are the end solution so you might want to skip 2,3, and 4 plexes and concentrate incentives for condos and apartments. Yeah it's difficult to accommodate but not as difficult as living next to a 3 or 4 plex when I counted on single family neighbors. Kind of nice they didn't come up with putting trailers just anywhere.
