I failed to say, “Thank you Bill” for your courage and fortitude in writing and publishing your opinion piece. I’ve enjoyed your quirky humor immensely. In the face of human misery and devastation, you chose to take a stand. But also ended with a bit of humor from “Car Talk,” which I often enjoyed during drives to and from my old, always-needed-to-be-worked-on trawler on Lake Ontario. I’ve been a Leader reader for 15+ years, and I couldn’t be more proud of your willingness to take a risk and express a very personal and also socially compelling perspective.
