18 U.S. Code ยง 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection.

Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

I could not find any charges for "insurrection".

The point I was making is that just because some in the media calling it "insurrection" doesn't make it so. Some of the silly hyperbolic terms used by some in the media to describe what happened that day were just that, silly hyperbole, meant to inflame not inform. Sort of like that stupid mayor in Seattle calling what was going on during the riots, and killings a "Summer of Love".
