So true. I am working on a history of Jefferson County businesses and use many sources, but my main source are the bound copies of the Port Townsend Leader at the Jefferson County Historical Research Center, and the many genealogical data bases on-line. Lucky for me Tom Camfield gave the JCHS research center the 1886 Port Townsend Call. So much information on Jefferson County. The small town newspaper is a vital part of the community. We learn things of importance to us today. Thanks Tom & Fred for reminding us of the importance of supporting our local newspaper.
