Thanks for the animal remembrances, we sometimes take them for granted. I had a dog for many years, her name was Lucky. She was dropped off at a neighbors house and he cared for her. She had obviously just had pups. My daughter took an immediate liking to her and the neighbor said, well she's yours then, isn't she lucky. She lasted about 12 years, and was a wonderful companion to all of us. When she passed, I never got another dog for many years.
