It is interesting how Stephanie McCleary, admin at CSD sued the state for more school funding, when in just five years her pay went up from $55K to $78K for an admin job, this increase is more than much of the county earns in a year. Her total package has skyrocketed to around $108,000 (according to state records) when many of you are struggling to survive. To make things worse, in that same 5 years the school attendance has dropped by 26 percent. So her pay went up a whole lot for doing a whole lot less.

CSD already has funding for around $16,000 per student per year for an absolutely pathetic (I wonder if this is on her Linkdin profile) 3.7 rating (Thats out of 10, not 5), one of the lowest in the state, and country. When most of the country has a per student funding of about $11,000 per year and does much better.

For the last year the school has been mostly shut down, and most students use Google Classrooms for work. So what are the teachers doing other than laughing all the way to the bank. NOTHING. Why are we paying them more money for less work, and pathetic grades. I say replace them all with teachers who care about students, who care about the grades they get, or give each family $10K and a laptop and Google Classrooms account, so we can shut CSD49 down, save money to sue the Admin and board, and let Google educate our kids for less with better results. "So Mr... Teacher at CSD. what do you do for your students." "Well I don't know, Google Classroom does all the work now. I just get paid for twiddling my thumbs and watching youtube."

Why was this levy allowed to even be, when many of the people who voted on it do not have kids, many do not even have property or even live in this county. A big part of the problem is all the rich California transplants who just vote yes with no care, well fine, make it so the yes voters are the only payers. Then this was a levy that the school district did not even provide info to many voters on, and the ones they did they lied about. Did the school levy say "This will provide Stephanie McClearly even more money, way more than virtually all admins at other schools?" Or "We would like to let you know that the student population at CSD has fallen by 26 percent in five years and will continue to fall, but we will hide this from you so we can get your money that we do not need, because we know you want the best for the students even though we have no idea how to do that."

For 5 years CSD has had nearly 50 percent more funding than most students in the USA, yet many of the kids are not even graduating, and cannot get a job when they leave school because they had a poor education. So ask yourself, where is the money really going? Then demand the State investigate CSD and its staff.
