Report Inappropriate Comments

I have a newspaper article from the Port Townsend Leader from December 1945 on the bulletin board in my office:

"Deer Gets Police Protection. Police Chief George Willestoft stands guard over a deer menaced by dogs, and traffic when it wandered to the main downtown corner of Taylor and Water street here. The deer, "Bambi" a Fort Worden pet had gone AWOL, creating much excitement in town."

I see way more deer in Port Townsend than out at Eaglemount. To many predators out here.
