Local 20/20’s Health and Wellness Action Group is presenting a free screening of “Now Is the Time: Healthcare for Everybody” at 6 p.m., Sunday, July 23 at Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2333 San Juan Ave., Port Townsend.

The film has been shown in Seattle and throughout the Northwest. “Through interviews, animations and éxposé, the new documentary film tells the story of the drama, struggle and success of the movement toward healthcare equity,” said organizer Jenifer Taylor.

Free vacation Bible school set for August

Children ages 4-12 are invited to First Baptist Church’s free vacation Bible school, “Rhythm Jabali,” a blend of African music, dancing, drumming and art as well as indoor field games, snacks and fun.

The program runs from 9 a.m. to noon, Aug. 1-3, with a family program on Thursday at 6 p.m. The church is at located at 1202 Lawrence St., Port Townsend. For more information, call 385-4727.
