It's Not That Easy You Know
Undertown Coffee and Wine Bar, in conjunction with the Artisans on Taylor Gallery, presents the paintings of Betsy Barnum and photographs of Nyk Fury. Betsy Barnum, a Seattle resident who received her bachelor of arts degree from Anderson University in Indiana and an M.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute, has had numerous group and solo shows throughout the country since entering the art scene a few years ago.

The Smithsonian Institution has selected the Jefferson County Historical Society (JCHS) to host a major traveling exhibit. In cooperation with Humanities Washington, the Jefferson County Museum hosts “Journey Stories” from Saturday, Sept. 4 to Sunday, Oct. 17.

Mackie hosts three-day Family Music Festival
Andy Mackie’s annual tradition of holding a multiday music festival, silent auction and Scottish Highlands games event on Labor Day weekend takes on a greater significance this year as Mackie prepares to move closer to his family in Michigan. The festival runs Saturday-Monday, Sept. 4-6 at Jefferson County Memorial Athletic Field.
